Forwards copy of correspondence with the superitendt of the Kalka mule train arising out of a requisition made on that officer by Lieut Briggs for 50 mules to be temporarily placed at his disposal for employment on the Hindoostan and shibet road and suggests that if mules are to be so employed it would be more a advantuigeons for the public interest.
