In reply to their letter no 161 of the 13th instant intimating that in reference to their former communication no 514 of the 10th April last it is found tht major Diuckey asst. and D at Seharanpore in his letter to the supt. reported that theire was aprobability of being obliged to store about 20000 maunds of gram while the supt. in his letter to he Bd. states that the existing godowns concontain about half that quantity there is ome doubt as to whether the suggestion of their Bd. or the sanction conveyed in this office letter no 100 of the 2nd May last is sufficiently comprehensine and the some doubt applies to subsequent desp. no 271 and 1610 of the 2nd May and 10th June respectively moreover the P in C doubts as to the stability of cutcha wall with pucca facing on bath sides .
