In reply to his letter No 485 date 29th January 18531 transmits copies of commn from which it will be observed that a bill for Rs 41-8- advanced to cart driven by the coll of the 24th pergunnals for the use of the 38th Regiemnt is delitable to the Governemnt of Bengal and not the Military Department .
