Acknowledgeds recipt of a letter of 13th Dec. 1850 directing the supt. for the present of the aspplication to the assistant in the canals department of the rubesliad down in G O 22nd Feb. last & the majority of the board point out that the Ex. Engr. on the canals are affected by the obove ordr in respect to treaveling allowances the supt. eastren & westren hunner canals.
