Intimating in reply to letter no 630 dt. 10th instant that the return from furlough of Bt. Major W E Baker of engrs has been announced in G O no 636 dt. 13the Decr. 1850 and requesting that officer may be instructed to procure and forward to this dept. the usual certificate from the Court of Drs. permitting him to return to his duty without prejudice to his rank.
