In reply to his despatch of the 23rd ultimo, stating that Govt. direct that Mulkabebee shall be deprised of her Pension of 4Rs. per Mensem for the froud she has committed in Continuing to receive a Stipend of 2 Rs. a Month on account of her Daughter Genut Beebee whoi died in December 1848, H.H. in council observed, that the Pension Pay Master at Barrackpore does not appear to be free from blame in this matter, the Daughter Genut was admitted in 1831, to a Pension until she attained her Fifteenth year, and an ordinary attention only to the duties of his office would have shown hire that the rigl must have forfieted all claim to Pension some years ago.
