In reply to a despatch of the 20th Sept. last regarding the alleged inadequacy of the allowance for pullng upnkas in Barracks states that airwas entertained by the Govr. Genl. were clearly shewn in his secy coll stuarts lr. to the ar. Mr. Genl. of the army of the 2nd of that month.
