With reference to his lr. no. 280 of 29th Augt. last frowards copy of one from the chief Engineer Madras acknowledging recipt of the Maps of sthe new survey of the nellore collectorate in 42 sections but stating that he has recd. no adivice regarding them and states that he has therefore now forwarded to that funtionary copy of the correspondence noted within on the subjects.
