With reference to the annexed copy of a letter from major Hannay commanding the 1st Assam light Infantry Battalion earnestly suggests that 2 officers be appointed to do duty with that Battalions and and if a subaltern office of artillery can be spared strough recommends that can be attached to do duty with the Local artillery.
