Submit that on the occassion of Lieut.SPan, Adjt. 53rd N.I. being appointed to officite as Major of Brigade at Dacca, adverted to in my Lr.163 of the 21st Sept. Last. Lieut.G.W.A. Nares of the same regt. was directed to officiate as an adjutant during the absence of Lieut.Span on the above duty.
