With reference to mily. deptt. letter No. 558 of the 19th ultimo. states that tthe Lieutt. govr. considers the workshops at Roorkee, as branch of the dept. of Public works & would wish these accounts to be brought under the same systeames of audit as the other accunts of that dept.
