In reply to his lr. no. 40 of the 2nd instt. Requesting that he will cande a equivalent to cast Rs/ 6000 to be furnished from the presidency pay office to the govt. alent on account of the mily widows fund of H,majestys serivce in India being the amount of the amual conation of Govt. to the Fund in advance to the 30th april 1849.
