In reply to Mily. department letter no. 307 D/ 11th jjan. 14852 state that miss GReen is the illegitimates danghter of the late certernary surgeon P B F GReen as reported by the presidenct of the committee appointed at umballa on the afairs of the above named surgeon vide predecession letter no. 1124 of the 3rd june 1848.
