With reference to No 345 of 20th September last regarding alleged deficiency of offrs in the commist andtempg appt there to of Lieutt Harris 67th native Infantry states that as additinal officers were sent round since the date of his letters it is hoped the Bengal commist will have been placd on an efficient forwarding documents the no and dte of each may be quoted in his transmititng letters and adds that the tempy appt of Lt harris to the commist will be decided on when submitted ther the approvpriate Department.
