With refce to the correspce noted wihin of which copies are submitted on the subject of supplying bread and meat by contract to european troops and requesting the sentiments of their board on certain points conested with the expediency of uesting authority in committes jointly with commanding officers to cause rejected Bread and meat to be destroyed states that they consider that when the supplies are decidedly an whole some be destroyed by Regtt. committee commdg. officers but as the Members of their Board.
