Informing him that Govt. sanctioned the discharge from the service of Gunner Smith 3rd Bn. arty. friends have paid in Europe the sum reqd. by the regt. for hsi discharge and passage barent & authorizing him to make arrangement to provide the Gunner with a charter party passage.
