With reference to mily dept. lr. no. 242 of 8th Instt. states that if the officer commanding the Peshawur division is supplied with a copy of the medl. cade of 1851 that of 1838 would seem to be guite unecessary but adds that no copies of the new code are availbale in the Adjutt. Genls. dept. and in regard to the pay and audit Regn. of 1835 and 1845 with supplement observations.
