With reference to mily dept lr no 417 of the 11th instt reports that as 50 Rs per montsh was alloued the officers comdg the depot of Hm's 26th and 49th regiments an the occasion of thoses ciorps proceeding to china it is presuned that the same scale of remmuncertaion will now be sanctioned to the officer who may be placed in command of the depot of the 18th royal Irish .
