With reference to a letter of the 13th ultiml, conveys the sanction of the GOvernor General to the grant of Commissions to such of the Native officers of the Shekawattee Battalion named in the despatch from the Adjt. General of the Army, date 22nd November last, as have not received them. and requests that the Commissions be issued under the orders of Govt.
