With refrence to his letter of the 5th july and 4oct'r 1850 preferring demands against, the late Brevet major siddons, of Engineer amounting ro Rupees 250, for recorvery there the Court of Directors, requests that it may be a certained by refrence to Court whether the amount has been recovered and states that in thde mean while , he has instructed the presidency pay master to reserve in deposit the above amount amount from the andeted bill for Rupees 370.8 due the Estate of the deceased, subject to payment to the amdministrator to the Estate on its bring as certained that the demands under notice have already been staisfied by payment in England.
