In reply to his letter No. 332 D/8th Instant pages 1-3 reports having taken the Fort at Bamore by storm by the troops at Ranee Regent of Tehri requests he will report on the circumstances and the casualties on both sides and what has become of Nirput Singh and begs he will be never careful in his vernacular Commissariat and so that no doubt may exist of the nature extent of his orders.
