In reply to No. 463 dt. 10th June regarding the plunder and burning of the village of Pindru Ellaka Beronda, thinks that a careful inquiry is required to be made regarding that part of the Raja of Berondas remonstrance which relates to Capt. Griffins having called on the Thakoorani of the village to make over to him on pain of being dishonored all her property.
