In referring the original books issued to your Department by the Govt. of the 10th Oct. last, I am directed to acquaint you for the information of the parties that the Resident in Council with the Most Noble the Governor General in reference to the proposed stoppage of the allotment of Milk to the Bearer affairs in the Madras Presidency as proposed in the Minute of the Financial Member in March 1851 decided to continue the issue to the former in accordance with the G.O.P. No. S.C. dated 15 February 1851 as concented by the Resident Col. Thorne in his statement of the 3rd of June.
