Letter from Capt. rt. S. Harledge of the Kent to Mr. E. Hay, Secretary, reporting that he has not been able to make further progress on account of unhealthy winds, that most of the invalids of the Kent are in a deplorable state of health, and requesting that the captains of other Indiamen may be authorized to send the invalids homeward bound in order to preserve their health.
