Letter from Lieut. George Prole, Deputy Paymaster of the late Bombay Detachment, to Mr. Stephen Rouset, Paymaster of that detachment, giving a detailed account of the circumstances which obliged him to hold a bill of exchange for 80,000 Rupees upon the Shroff Coredas, requesting an account current with the latter and requesting that reference may be made to the Paymaster-General so that the Shroff may be obliged to pay the sum due from him.
