Regarding three Ashturkhana at Mysore (Mysore soldiers and His Askar's which are paid respectively Rupees 25, 9 and 11 6 (vide Shinto 4 1/2) and Muhammadi (B?31 L M No.14 of 1886)) They are reported to have been in existence during the time of Tippu Sultan, but the present ceremonies connected therewith are performed by Shiahs.
