Disallowance of the claim of Mr. B. J. Gould, Political Officer in Sikkim, to a reward for passing an examination in Tibetan by the test that entitles Officers of the Assam Administration to a reward of R500. Decision that officers of the Political Department are eligible to rewards under the rules for the encouragement of the study of oriental languages for passing in Arabic, Persian and Sanskrit irrespective of the places where they may be serving whether in or outside the Indian provinces.
