Letter from Mr. Claud Alexander Military Paymaster-General, requesting an answer to his proposal to demand the payment of current rupees 2,10,898-1-5 from the estate of the late Mr. Burgh, as also to write off in the military account books all the retrenchments from the Paymaster disbursements prior to May, 1780.
