Letter from Mr. Claud Alexander, Military Paymaster-General, vouching for the correctness of the balances due from Mr. Wilkinson, Acting Paymaster at Monghyr, advising the Board to debit Mr. Wilkinson for the retrenchment from his accounts, recommending the acceptance of his tender of his bungalow in part payment of the balances and the grant of rupees 136 per month to him for writers, shroffs, and sircars from the 1st August, 1782, to the 31st May, 1783, requesting consideration of the orders of the Board of Inspection deducting rupees 437-8 from Mr. Wilkinson's allowances, and recommending the acceptance of Messrs. Petrie and Keble's bond for the balance due from Mr. Wilkinson and the withdrawal of the suit against him.
