Sanction by the Secretary of State to the recommendation that Mr. G. C. Denham of the Bengal Police should be permitted to count the period of his deputation in Ceylon as service qualifying for pension. Amendment of note 3 to Article 84-A of the Civil Service Regulations so as to permit the service of a deputed officer in any of the places mentioned in the article to qualify for leave unless otherwise determined by the Secretary of State or the Government of India.
