Letter From The Governor In Council of Fort St. George, Intimating That They Have Given Public Notice To The Effect That The 12 Per Cent Bonds Granted By Them In 1796-7 Will Be Received At Par As Subscription To The Decennial Loan, That They Have Postponed Making The Above Bonds Transferable To Bengal, Stating That They Will Not Draw Any Further Bills On Bengal, And That They Have Given Every Encouragement To The Payment of Voluntary Subscriptions On Account of The Scarcity of Specie At The Madras Presidency.
