Minute of The Governor-General, Proposing That It May Be Notified To The Public That The Principal As Well As The Interest On The 12 Per Cent Notes Granted At The Presidency In 1796-7 Should Be Received As Subscription Towards The Decennial Loan, And That The Government of Fort St. George Be Desired To Adopt The Same Measures And That They Be Also Allowed To Transfer Those 12 Per Cent Notes To Bengal Which Will Become Due During The Course of The Year.
