Resolution proposed to be moved in the Council of state by the Hon'ble Mr. Kumar Sankar Ray Chaudhury recommending that the water ways of rivers Brahmaputra and Ganges be declared a Central subject and that the Shipping and Navigation thereon be under taken by the Eastern Bengal Railway.
