Decision arrived at by the Government of India not to agree to the proposal that the Survey of India Department should undertake the reproduction, at their own expense, of the maps made by Messrs. Jackman and Darby of the Public Works Department, Hong Kong, on the ground that the cost of reproducing will be out of all proportion to the value to India of the information contained in them.
