Draft of a letter to the Board of Ordnance, intimating that they have directed Capts. Lewis and Douglas to land a quantity of cargo from their ships Valentine and Queen and that they have ordered Mr. John Lloyd to send it up to the town, requesting them to issue orders for filling the magazines of the ships aforesaid with gunpowder for Madras, and desiring them to receive the ordnance and flints, etc., from Mr. LaBeaume.
