Letter from Mr. John Macintyre, Secretary to the Board of Ordnance, proposing to purchase the guns, shot, and flints, imported by Capt LaBeaume, for the defence of Fort William and the fortifications of Budge-Budge and Monycolly, and intimating that they have ordered the Military Storekeeper to prepare gunpowder for immediate despatch to Europe and that they will comply with Mr. Cudbert Thornhill's request for 12 guns for his ship Betsey.
