With reference to an extract from this Department, forwards copy of a message authorizing an increase of the pay of peons recommended by the Commissioner of Coorg, but the information contained in the papers submitted has not satisfied his Excellency in Council of the necessity for the other increases proposed in the establishments of Coorg. those propositions should be revised by the Commissioner of Coorg
