With reference to No. 727, dated 21st March last, forwards for information and for the issue of the necessary orders, copy of a resolution observing that, on the ground that the appointment of Commissioner is personal, not local, His Excellency in Council is pleased to rule that the six months (for which under the old rule Major Ardagh had to act on half difference before getting full salary) be reckoned as if he had not been removed from Pegu to Arracan since his first appointment to officiate as Commissioner
