N.E. Railway. Reference from and regarding the permanent promotion to class I of Shri B.C. Misra, a confirmed Class II officer of the U.P. Police on deputation to the Railways- Board decided on Case No. E56PM2-27 that there should be no direct recruitment to the R.P.F. Cadre at least for the time being and hence further action may be taken on the occurrence of a promotion vacancy in the cadre- Railway informed that if and when it is decided to absorb officers of Shri Misra's category in Class I his his will be considered
