Northeast Railway. Regarding Shri B.C. Misras permanent promotion to class I, the Board decided on Case No. E56PM2-27 that there should not be any direct recruitment to the R.P.F. Cadre at least temporarily. As a result, further action may be taken in the event that a promotion vacancy in the cadre occurs. The Railway was informed that if and when it is decided to absorb officers of Shri Misras category in Class I, his will be taken into consideration
