Cancellation or amendment of approved panels- Clarification of orders contained in Board's letter No. E55PM2-34 dt. 4-8-53 that in cases (i) where a person who officiated in a higher post was found unsatisfactory and reverted or reverted as a measure of penalty and not for want of vacancy- the removal of the name from the panel should be automatic; and (ii) where a person before promotion has deteriorated in the post he holds- the deletion of a name from the panel is an amendment and the approval of the authority next is an amendment and the approval of the authority next above the one that approved the panel will be necessary
