Maximum utilization of the branches of the Imperial Bank of India and local treasuries to avoid carrying of large amounts of cash over long distances. Decision (1) The Orders contained in Board's letter No. 49-B-5210 regarding measures for avoiding Pay clerk carrying large amounts of cash for the monthly disbursement of pay etc. are of general nature. (2) Branches of the Imperial Bank of India and Local treasuries should be utilised to the maximum extent in order to avoid as far as possible and except where it is absolutely necessary, carrying of cash over long distances
