(1) Ministry of Finance decision that medical certificates from a private registered medical practitioner may also be accepted in the case of- on account of mis-carriage (including abortion) and that the certificate of a Civil Surgeon or a Gazetted Medical Officer may, however, be called for in cases of doubt.
