Ministry of Labour and Employment (1) 22nd Session of the Standing Labour Committee- New Delhi- 9th and 10th December 1964. Adviser (Labour and Welfare) attended the meeting. (2) The various clauses of the draft contract labour (Regulation) Bill 1964 including the one relating to abolition of contract labour were communicated to the Labour Ministry. Final draft Bill and note for Cabinet are awaited from that Ministry. (3) The question of revising the General Conditions of Contract for Civil Engineering works on the lines of the provisions made in the C.P.W.D. and M.E.S. Codes was being examined separately by W.I. Branch
