Ministry of Labour and Employment - 21st Session of the Indian Labour Conference - New Delhi - 13th and 14th July 1963, Director, Establishment and Adviser (Labour and Welfare) attended the conference. Items regarding abolition of contract system provision of welfare amenities to contract labour, difficulties in securing implementation of Labour Laws, etc. in public sector undertakings were discussed at the meeting of the Heads of the public Sector undertakings on 11.7.1963 which was attended by the Additional Member (Staff) and Director Establishment, issues re: labour management relations etc., were discussed at the Conference - Appropriate action taken on the conclusions by the Branches concerned wherever considered necessary
