Northern Railway. Payment of compensation to Shri Satya Dev Varma, R Ticket Collector, Kanpur under the Workmen's compensation Act, 1923. It has been held by the Ministry of Law that the deceased was using a certain route to go from the railway station to the Railway Institute which was the usual route taken by railway employee like him and it was clear that he was killed while he was traversing the way across the Railway premises where he had come on duty. Therefore it was possible to contend in this case that the accident which caused his death arose out of and in the course of his employment
