Decision that, in cases in which the India Office have been unable owing to special circumstances arising from war conditions always to allot accommodation to Government officers on leave in England by the line by which they held return tickets, such officers should be re-imbursed the fare actually paid by them for the return passage (if compelled to travel by another line), less any refund obtained from the Issuing Company for the unused half of the return ticket. Adds that this decision applies not only in the case of passages by private steamers, but also to payment passages on a Government vesel
