Decision that the period spent on military duty, either as a combatant or on other field service, by a civil officer on leave in England who has accepted a temporary commission under the War Office shall be regarded as an interruption of ordinary leave, and the officer shall be entitled to the benefit of Article 199(a), Civil Service Regulations, in addition to the terms already sanctioned
