1. Shri S.N. Guha, stenographer, Allahabad, Northern Railway, concerns pay fixation upon his transfer back to the parent office from the Railway Service Commission, Allahabad, where he was deputed as Stenographer in the same grade of Rs. 80-220 and granted certain advance increments. Request that such advance increments be calculated for the purpose of determining his salary upon reversion to the parent railway. Im not sure if the higher starting salary of Rs. 160/-p.m. might be considered pay for the purpose of determining pay upon the incumbents later return to his parent office, where he no longer had the same responsibilities. It is clarified that there is no question of withdrawing the advance increments previously sanctioned, and therefore the employees in question
