RTA system should be eliminated. ii) Only posts of SMs and ASMs up to and including grade Rs. 250-380 should be preserved for promotion from lower grade SMs and ASMs. iii) Prob. ASMs should occupy the first grade posts of ASMs (Rs 130-240), followed by signallers (25%) and switchmen (10%)
